Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to the following events:

  • Aotearoa Lash Conference

  • Lash Industry Awards

  • Online Lash Competition (NZ/AU)

  • LIA Business Awards

 

1. NON REFUNDABLE

 

All purchases are final and non-refundable. This includes:

  • Event tickets

  • Award tickets

  • Online competition entries

  • Business award submission

 

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Inability to attend

  • Personal or financial circumstances

  • Travel disruptions outside our control

2. TRANSFERS

 

  • Tickets may be transferred to another person with organiser approval

  • Name changes must be requested prior to the event cut-off

  • Entries and submissions are not transferable once submitted

3. EVENT CHANGES 

We reserve the right to:

  • Change speakers, judges, panelists or presenters

  • Adjust the schedule, format, or content

 

No refunds will be issued if:

  • A specific person is no longer attending

  • The program / agenda changes

 

Tickets are purchased for the event experience as a whole, not any individual.

 

4. RESCHEDULED EVENTS

 

If an event is rescheduled:

  • Your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date

  • No refunds will be issued

 

5. EVENT CANCELLATION

If we cancel an event and it is not rescheduled:

  • You will receive a refund of the ticket price only at time of purchase

  • Less any third-party fees (booking fees, payment processing fees, platform fees)

 

We are not responsible for:

  • Flights

  • Accommodation

  • Travel costs

  • Loss of income or other expenses

6. FORCE MAJEURE / UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

 

If we are unable to proceed due to events outside our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, venue issues, low ticket sales, or sponsor withdrawal), we may:

  • Reschedule the event, or

  • Cancel the event (refunds apply as above)

7. ONLINE COMPETITION & BUSINESS AWARDS

All entries and submissions are:

  • Final and non-refundable

  • Non-transferable once submitted

Fees cover administration, judging, and event costs regardless of outcome.

 

8. CONSUMER LAW (NZ & AU)

Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under:

  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

  • Australian Consumer Law

However:

  • These are time-based services

  • Change of mind does not entitle a refund

  • If the event or service is delivered, no refund is required

9. BY PURCHASING

 

By completing your purchase, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood this Refund Policy

  • You accept that all purchases are non-refundable except where required by law
