TICKETS AND THE EVENT
Does the ticket include meals?
Light refreshments are provided during the conference intermission. The Gala Evening includes a drink on arrival and canapés.
Are tickets refundable?
Our refund policy is currently under review. Check back here before you buy.
Does a conference ticket include the Awards Gala Evening?
A COMBO ticket includes both events. A single event ticket only gives access to that event. Plus ones are not included in your ticket.
When and where is it?
Auckland. The live competition is Friday 10 September 2027, and the Conference and Awards are Saturday 11 September 2027.
ENTERING THE COMPETITION
When can I enter?
Entries open 1 March 2027 at 9:00am and close 30 June 2027 at 11:59pm (NZ time).
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes. Each entry needs its own ticket, and multiple entries in one category must each be on a different model.
Which level do I enter?
Intermediate is less than 2 years experience. Advanced is 2 years or more. Open categories are for all levels.
Will the judges know who I am?
Not for the online competition. Every online competition entry is coded and judged blind, so judges never see names or salon details. The Business Awards are not judged anonymously.
Can I get a refund on an entry?
Entries are final and non-refundable, including if an entry is disqualified. Read the guidelines before you submit.
Who can enter?
Anyone living in New Zealand at the time of entry who meets the category requirements. LIA staff, awards sponsors and current judges cannot enter.
